December Meeting Special Events

POTLUCK: In lieu of having a Christmas Party on a separate day this year, we will have a potluck following the December meeting. The House of Ireland will be providing ham and turkey, so please bring along your favorite side dish, salad or dessert to accompany the main meal.

COOKIE EXCHANGE: We will have a cookie exchange during the December meeting. Each participant bakes several dozen cookies which will be traded off with other participants. If you are interested, contact Cindy Wear at 760-315-3535 by December 9.

GINGERBREAD HOUSES: We will have a gingerbread house contest for any of you who are interested. Contact Cindy Wear for additional information at 760-315-3535.

Queens Toy Drive

The HPR Queens is holding a Toy Drive this holiday season and we could really use your help! Please bring an unwrapped toy with you when you come to work your shift at the International Christmas Festival and help make a few deserving kids' Christmas a little more merry! Ask all your friends who are coming to December Nights to bring one as well - we'd really appreciate it! Remind them that if they bring a toy, they'll receive a coupon for a complimentary "Mock Irish Coffee" at the House of Ireland! There are boxes at the cottage where you can drop off toys through December 6. All toys will be donated to Toys for Tots (http://www.toysfortots.org/).
